During my primary education and as a kid, I used to have a strong passion and enthusiasm for video games to the extent that I would spend most of my time playing them.

At the time of my transition from primary school to middle school, my interest in gaming grew even bigger, which helped me become proficient in playing. Over time, when my skills sharpened noticeably, I started taking part in virtual international competitions so I could play with new people across different nationalities.

However, towards the end of my middle-school studies, my participation in such tournaments had known a number of obstacles given that the geographical area I come from as well as my country were neither familiar with the concept of these competitions nor were they interested in the world of virtual gaming.

My strong passion for and obsession with video gaming pushed me to look for solutions to overcome the obstructions I was going through at that time. As a starting point, I used to post my questions on social media pages in order to receive expert answers. Luckily, I managed to get some useful answers and a few links to online forums which were specially created for electronic games.

In order to be able to play and participate in remote competitions, I needed to recharge my balance for my gaming account. However, since the country in which I reside was not supported by video game companies, I could not easily top up my account and take part in such events. Hence, I continued asking questions on forums and social media pages to find solutions to this issue.

Initially, I started buying game credit from some individuals in the forums although they charged me double the price. As time passed, I found others who could supply me with game credit at a lower cost, and I continued this way for a while.

One day, while thinking about buying a new game credit, though lacking the full amount, I became uncertain about how to raise more money to purchase it. Then, it came to my mind that I could actually find someone who would sell game credit at a lower price. I could indeed find a person who offered me game credits for the exact amount I had. The person also advisedthat I should start buying them directly since they  are sold at higher cost through social media platforms.

During my last year in middle school, the news started spreading that I was playing video games remotely with people from different cities and countries. I began receiving questions from my schoolmates and some individuals I didn’t know about how to purchase game credit and participate in video game competitions. Then, the brilliant idea that drastically changed my life came to my mind.

I started buying game credit for interested individuals and thus getting a small profit in return. As I caught the bug for these business transactions, I began promoting this service on social media pages and forums, offering very reasonable prices and competing with others who, as well, were buying and selling video game credit.

After entering high school, I had already gained modest expertise in the field of online sales or what is known now as e-commerce. I started exploring other areas and products within the realm of e-commerce and specialized particularly in payment upon delivery. With time, I began earning respectable amounts of money which proved sufficient for me as a high school student.

In my final year of high school, I made the decision to move forward and focus on my work. After completing high school, I decided to stop studying and fully dedicate myself to working online. After a relatively short period, I was able to achieve excellent results. Through working on websites that supported cash-on-delivery payment systems, my sales surpassed 3768 items sold, and the total value of transactions exceeded 1,000,000 Dirhams.

After achieving decent profits at an early age, I used to seek pieces of advice from relatives and individuals with more financial experience on how to manage money and businesses. Following several consultations, I decided to take the advice of my elder brother, who always considered real estate investment as one of the best and most significant investments, as he always says “the best investment on earth is earth,” referring to real estate.

Consequently, I made my first investment in purchasing a house in 2017, renovated it through changing the interior design and furnishing. The value of the house began to increase month after month and year after year.

Thankfully, it was a success and I felt some sort of great admiration for this type of investment as it proved to be highly effective and one of my most significant achievements.

After investing 90% of my capital in the property I purchased, I had 10% left, which I invested entirely in maintaining and developing my e-commerce project by buying some interesting courses to learn more about this field. I, indeed, made progress, maintained the continuity of the project, and also developed it further. This allowed me to build connections with new, successful individuals in e-commerce and exchange ideas and experiences. It also opened many doors for me to explore other business ventures.

In 2019, two years after purchasing the house and after considerable hard work, I was finally able to buy my dream car, Audi A3 S Line. Purchasing and decorating my new car, making it look more attractive, was one of the most significant accomplishments after my successful real estate investment. As I had a great passion and love for cars, and as I used to receive questions repeatedly about where and how I modified the car, this has generated another business idea for me. This project idea relates to the world of cars, including customization, buying, and selling; hence, I decided to engage in car customization and modifications.And, It turned out to be a successful venture as my revenue in this field exceeded 3,000,000 Dirhams.

Starting up any project and ensuring its success requires effort, discipline and continuous work. The pleasure of success, though, can make you forget the hard work and the obstacles you faced during your investment journey.

Moreover, the feeling of triumph can lead to addiction to work and investment, continuously seeking success after success without fatigue. This was exactly the reason for which I fell in love with entrepreneurship and project management.

In 2021, I decided to build a gaming lounge “Startsetplay”, which I named after my favorite music band called “Starset”. This project integrated my interests and produced a real-life expression of my passions and childhood memories.

Thus, my life’s journey has been a series of transitions since childhood, and the same applies to my ventures in the business world. There were direct and indirect factors that contributed to building my experience, creating new opportunities, and expanding my knowledge and circle of acquaintances.

These experiences opened doors to various fields, some of which offered lucrative investment opportunities, while others provided valuable learning experiences, proving that continuous learning and experimentation are the only paths to success.

Finally, after a wide range of experiences in creating and managing projects, and owning a collection of businesses related to the fashion and clothing industry that achieved remarkable success, I developed a strong interest in helping startups or projects struggling with weak marketing plans or low sales. I decided then to assist them in overcoming these obstacles through the provision of an integrated program covering marketing and administrative plans, as well as logistic and after-sales services. Hence, this will be manifested through a project called “ADYacouti”
